Walnut bubble biscuits

Deliciously moorish, these sweet biscuits are packed full of chewy dried fruit and crunchy walnuts. Perfect served fresh out of the oven and shared with loved ones.

Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Lightly grease two baking trays.
2.Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Add egg and beat well. Fold through remaining ingredients until well combined.
3.Roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into balls and place onto prepared baking trays. Flatten slightly with a floured fork.
4.Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cool on trays.

Tip: Dried fruit is easily substituted for sultanas, a chopped fruit medley or chocolate bits. Store in airtight container.
