Ingredients
Turkey burgers
- 500 gram turkey breast, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 8 slice swiss cheese
- 1 turkish loaf, split, cut into 8 pieces
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 100 gram packet snow pea sprouts
Method
Turkey burgers
- 1In a bowl, combine turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg and garlic. Mix well using clean hands; season to taste.
- 2Divide mixture into 8 even-sized flattened patties. Arrange on a tray; chill until required.
- 3Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Cook patties, in two batches, 5-6 minutes each batch. Turn and top each with a cheese slice. Cook a further 5-6 minutes; drain on paper towel.
- 4Spread half the bread with sauce. Fill with patties and sprouts. Top each with a piece of remaining bread.
