Tuna and lemon dip
Quick, tasty and packed full of goodness, this zesty herbed tuna dip is wonderfully creamy and great served with crackers and vegetable sticks as a healthy afternoon snack.

Ingredients
Tuna and lemon dip
- 185 gram can tuna in oil, drained, flaked
- 1/3 cup (100g) light mayonnaise
- 1/3 lemon, grated rind
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon snipped chives
- crackers, to serve
- raw vegetable sticks, to serve
Method
Tuna and lemon dip
- 1Combine tuna, mayonnaise, lemon rind, garlic, olive oil and chives in a bowl. Add pepper to taste.
- 2Spoon dip into an airtight container and chill. Serve with crackers and sticks of raw vegetables.
Notes
If you'd like to add a punchy flavour to the dip, add a little curry powder or crushed canned green peppercorns. For something different, try using the dip as a stuffing for hollowed-out fresh ripe tomatoes.
