Tuna and chilli pasta
This fresh yet flavoursome tuna and chilli pasta is quick and easy to make, making this the perfect midweek family meal

Ingredients
Tuna and chilli pasta
- 375 gram angel hair pasta
- 425 gram canned tuna in chilli oil
- 4 clove garlic, sliced thinly
- 410 gram canned chopped tomatoes
Method
Tuna and chilli pasta
- 1In a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, cook pasta until just tender; drain, reserving ¼ cup (60ml) cooking liquid. Rinse pasta under cold water, drain.
- 2Meanwhile, drain tuna,reserving 2 tablespoons of the oil. In a medium frying pan, heat oil. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant.
- 3Add undrained tomatoes, tuna and reserved cooking liquid to pan; simmer until liquid has reduced slightly. Combine pasta and sauce in large bowl.
Notes
Add baby capers and chopped basil the pasta sauce, if liked. Any type of spaghetti can be substituted, if liked. Serve pasta with lemon wedges and basil leaves, if liked.
