Method
1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
2.Place nuts onto a baking tray. Cook 5-10 minutes, or until lightly roasted. Transfer nuts to a bowl. Add tamari, cumin and cayenne pepper. Mix to combine.
3.Return the nuts to baking tray. Cook further 10 more minutes, turning halfway through. Allow to cool completely before serving.
Tamari sauce is a wheat-free soy sauce available from the health food section of supermarkets. Nuts and seeds have a high protein content, and may help to lower cholesterol.
