Ingredients

Method

1.Cook sushi rice following packet instructions. Drain well. Pour combined sushi seasoning, sugar and salt over, tossing lightly. Set aside to cool completely.
2.Spread a little wasabi paste onto each square of nori. Top with a rounded tablespoon of rice.
3.Arrange 1 piece cucumber, avocado and 2 prawn halves along centre of rice. Roll nori around filling to form a cone shape. Continue until all rolls are assembled – or arrange the food on a platter and get the guests to make their own.
4.Serve straight away with soy sauce. extra wasabi and pickled ginger.

Wasabi is a spicy green paste common in Japanese cooking. Cooked sushi rice is best served soon possible alter cooking, and at room temperature for best flavour.
