Ingredients

Method

1.Line oven tray with baking paper.
2.Combine sugar and the water in medium saucepan; stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil; boil, uncovered, without stirring, until golden brown. Allow bubbles to subside; add seeds.
3.Pour mixture onto tray; leave to set at room temperature. Break brittle into pieces to serve.

Chia seeds come from a plant that is related to mint. They are source of fibre and omega-3 fats. You can find them in health food stores and good supermarkets.
