Strawberry tartines with ricotta and balsamic syrup

This strawberry tartine recipe is delicious for brunch, with thick slices of good bread spread with creamy ricotta and drizzled with balsamic syrup. You could even try them for dessert!

  • thick slices of good bread, toasted
  • ricotta (or a combination 2 parts cream cheese to 1 part soft goat’s cheese)
  • sliced strawberries
  • balsamic vinegar simmered until reduced to a syrup (or honey/maple syrup)
