Spiced nuts Serves 1 Makes 2.5 Prep 20M Cook 30M Total 50M Women's Weekly Food Previous Next Print Ingredients 2 teaspoon cumin seeds 2 teaspoon coriander seeds 2 teaspoon mustard seeds 2 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon black peppercorns 2 teaspoon ground turmeric 2 tablespoon brown sugar 600 gram nuts – your favourite combination of peanuts, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts and brazil nuts 3 tablespoon olive oil 2 to 3 tsp flakey salt Method 1.Preheat oven to 160°C fan bake. 2.Place all the spices into a spice grinder or blender and grind to a fine powder. 3.Transfer spice mixture to a large bowl and add brown sugar and nuts. 4.Add olive oil and mix well, place onto a baking tray and sprinkle salt over mixture. 5.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring mixture every 10 minutes.
