Ingredients
Spiced lamb pita pockets
- 500 gram lean lamb mince
- cooking oil spray
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 lebanese cucumber, peeled, chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 wholemeal pita pockets, halved, warmed
- 200 gram reduced-fat tzatziki dip
- lemon wedges, to serve
Method
Spiced lamb pita pockets
- 1Spray mince with oil. Heat a large frying pan over moderate heat. Add mince, garlic, cumin and coriander; cook, stirring to break up lumps, for 5 minutes or until browned and cooked. Remove from heat. Add tomato, cucumber and onion; stir to combine.
- 2Spread pita pockets with tzatziki, then fill with mince mixture. Serve with lemon wedges.
