Ingredients

Spiced lamb pita pockets
  • 500 gram lean lamb mince
  • cooking oil spray
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 lebanese cucumber, peeled, chopped
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 wholemeal pita pockets, halved, warmed
  • 200 gram reduced-fat tzatziki dip
  • lemon wedges, to serve

Method

    Spray mince with oil. Heat a large frying pan over moderate heat. Add mince, garlic, cumin and coriander; cook, stirring to break up lumps, for 5 minutes or until browned and cooked. Remove from heat. Add tomato, cucumber and onion; stir to combine.

    Spread pita pockets with tzatziki, then fill with mince mixture. Serve with lemon wedges.
