Ingredients

Soy chicken kebabs with orange hoisin sauce
  • 750 gram chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tablespoon each sesame oil, peanut oil and lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup japanese soy sauce
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Orange hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup each hoisin sauce and orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 finely chopped green onion
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil

Method

    Cut chicken fillets into cubes; combine in large bowl with sesame oil, peanut oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic cloves and rosemary. Cover, refrigerate 2 hours.

    Thread chicken onto 12 skewers, reserving marinade. Cook skewers on heated oiled barbecue (or grill or grill pan), basting occasionally with marinade.

    Meanwhile, to make orange hoisin sauce, combine sauce, juice, vinegar, onion and sesame oil in bowl; mix well.

    Serve skewers with dipping sauce.
