Ingredients

Scallops with Asian dressing
  • 8 scallops on shell, with roe
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 3 piece ginger, finely shredded
  • 1 teaspoon snipped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thinly sliced red chilli (optional)

Method

Scallops with asian dressing
  • 1
    Pre-heat a barbecue plate or char-grill on high.
  • 2
    To make dressing, whisk together both oils, soy sauce, ginger, chives and chilli in a small jug.
  • 3
    Drizzle 2 teaspoons dressing over each scallop. Arrange on plate and cook for 4-5 minutes, until scallops are opaque and sauce is bubbling.
