Method

Sausage and bean casserole

1.Preheat oven to 180°C.
2.Heat oil in a large, flame-proof casserole dish on medium. Sauté onion, harissa and garlic for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden. Stir in paprika, then cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
3.Add frankfurters and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning, until lightly browned. Add beans, tomatoes and capsicum. Cover and transfer to the oven, then bake for 20 minutes.
4.Remove casserole from oven and arrange dumplings over surface. Return to oven, uncovered, for a further 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.

5.Sift flours into a bowl. Stir in parsley and make a well in the centre. Pour in combined milk and butter, stirring to form a soft dough. Using floured hands, roll tablespoons of dumpling mixture into rounds.
