Method
1.Heat butter, golden syrup and brown sugar together in a pot on medium heat, stirring until melted. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then remove from heat and stir through cream and sea salt. The caramel will be extremely hot so be careful. Let it cool until warm and it will thicken to a perfect dipping consistency. Pour into a bowl.
2.Core and slice apples and pears and squeeze over a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
3.Serve bowl of salted caramel fondue surrounded by apple and pear slices and mini pretzels for dipping.
