Roasted Brussels sprouts with maple glaze

Ingredients

  • 450 gram Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon miso paste
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted

Method

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the prepared sprouts for 4 minutes. Drain.

    Combine oil, miso paste, maple syrup, vinegar and soy sauce, and toss through the sprouts. Place in a roasting dish lined with baking paper.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender and glazed. Top with sesame seeds.

Notes
