Pizza sauce

Al Volo pizzeria's Neapolitan pizza sauce is very simple. Just use the best quality canned tomatoes you can find and salt. Photography by Todd Eyre.

Ingredients

Pizza sauce
  • 400 gram can whole peeled tomatoes (san marzano or mutti brand)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Pizza sauce

    Place tomatoes (including juice) in a blender with the salt.
