Ingredients
Pineapple jam
- 1 kilogram peeled, cored, chopped fresh pineapple
- 2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- croissants, to serve
Method
Pineapple jam
- 1Combine fruit, sugar and ground cinnamon in a saucepan.
- 2Stir over a low heat, without boiling, for 10 minutes until sugar dissolves.
- 3Bring to the boil on high. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, without stirring, for 20-25 minutes or until setting point is reached.
- 4Ladle into warm, sterilised jars. When cool, seal and label.
- 5Serve pineapple jam on hot croissants.
