Ingredients

Peri-peri prawn skewers
  • 24 medium green prawns, peeled, deveined, tails intact
  • 135 gram bottle hot peri-peri sauce
  • 8 bamboo skewers, soaked (see tip)
  • baby cos lettuce leaves, to serve

Method

Peri-peri prawn skewers

    Combine prawns and sauce in a bowl. Toss to coat in marinade.

    Thread 3 prawns onto each skewer.

    Preheat barbecue plate or grill on medium. Cook prawns for 2-3 minutes each side until cooked through. Arrange on a platter on a bed of lettuce.

Notes

Soak skewers in a dish of water for 20 minutes before threading to prevent scorching.
