Peach melba crumble

Filled with warming flavour, this scrumptious peach melba crumble dessert recipe is perfect served for loved ones on cold evenings

  • 800 gram canned peach halves, drained
  • 300 gram packet frozen raspberries
  • juice of ½ orange
  • 2 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup natural muesli
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 100 gram butter, chopped
  • 1/4 cup macadamia nut halves, chopped
  • vanilla custard to serve

    Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C.

    In a medium baking dish, combine peaches and raspberries. Stir juice through and sprinkle with caster sugar.

    In a large bowl, combine muesli, flour and brown sugar. Rub in butter until mixture is crumbly, then stir nuts through. Scatter crumble evenly over fruit in dish.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes until topping is crisp and golden. Serve warm with custard.


  • Natural muesli is an untoasted mixture, whereas regular muesli or granola has already been baked.
