Overnight chia seed bircher with black Doris plum yoghurt

Overnight chia seed bircher
  • 400 millilitre Puhoi Valley half and half
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoon honey or maple
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
To serve
  • 1 tub puhoi valley black doris plum yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup roasted almonds, roughly chopped or ground


Overnight chia seed bircher

    Put the milk, desiccated coconut, rolled oats, chia seeds, honey and vanilla extract in a glass bowl or jar.

    Mix until well combined, and then place in the fridge and leave to soak overnight, or for at least 2 hours.
To serve

    To serve, layer the chia bircher and black Doris plum yoghurt in small-sized jars, and then top with a sprinkle of the roasted almonds.
