No-bake chocolate slice
Smooth, creamy and utterly decadent, this chocolate and peanut butter slice requires no baking and can be enjoyed straight from the fridge as an indulgent afternoon treat.

Ingredients
No-bake chocolate slice
- 150 gram butter, chopped
- 1 3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 250 gram packet chocolate wafers, finely crushed
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 300 gram dark chocolate, melted (see tip)
- 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 50 gram milk chocolate, melted
Method
No-bake chocolate slice
- 1Line a 20 x 30cm slice pan with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above edge on two long sides.
- 2Combine butter and crunchy peanut butter in a saucepan. Stir over a medium heat, until melted and smooth.
- 3Combine wafers, oats and sugar in a large bowl. Pour butter mixture into dry ingredients, stirring until well combined. Spoon into slice pan. Press firmly and smooth surface. Chill, covered, 30 minutes.
- 4Pour melted chocolate over slice. Chill 15 minutes.
- 5Heat smooth peanut butter in a small saucepan on low. Stir until melted. Drizzle peanut butter and milk chocolate separately over slice. Chill 15 minutes until set. Remove from fridge 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
To melt chocolate, heat in a microwave oven on medium power, in 30-second bursts, stirring after each, until melted.
