Mulled “wine” mocktail

Ingredients
Mulled “wine” mocktail
- 2 litre (8 cups) red grape juice
- 4 strips orange rind
- 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 12 cloves
- 3 fresh bay leaves, plus extra to serve
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme, plus extra to serve
- 1 thinly sliced small orange
Method
Mulled “wine” mocktail
- 1Combine ingredients except sliced orange in a large saucepan. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes (do not boil).
- 2Cool; refrigerate until cold. Strain mixture into a large jug; discard solids.
- 3Add sliced orange, extra fresh bay leaves and extra fresh sprigs of thyme to mixture. Serve over ice.
