Mocha dip with fruit

This selection of juicy fresh fruit with a coffee and chocolate dip is perfect for your next family gathering, children's party or bring-a-plate.

Ingredients

Mocha dip with fruit
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant decaf coffee granules, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon powdered drinking chocolate
  • 1 medium red-skinned apple, cored, cut into wedges
  • 2 large kiwifruit, peeled, quartered lengthwise
  • 100 gram seedless red grapes
  • 1/4 medium pineapple, peeled, cored, chopped

Method

    Place cream, sugar, coffee and chocolate in a small bowl. Stir until well combined and smooth.

    Arrange fruit on a serving platter. Serve mocha dip with fruit.

Notes

Use full-fat sour cream for a thicker-style dip. For an adults-only version, add a little chocolate- or coffee-flavoured liqueur to dip.
