Ingredients
Kumara mash
- 500 gram (1 pound) coarsely chopped peeled kumara
- 500 gram (1 pound) coarsely chopped peeled potatoes
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 40 gram (1½ ounces) butter
Method
Kumara mash
- 1Boil, steam or microwave kumara and potatoes together until tender; drain. Mash in a large heatproof bowl.
- 2Combine chicken stock and butter in a small saucepan over medium high heat until butter is melted. Stir into kumara mixture until combined. Season to taste.
