Jam patty tarts
- 340 gram packet butter cake mix
- 5 1/2 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- icing sugar, for dusting
Method
Jam patty tarts
- 1Preheat oven to 200°C. Prepare cake following packet instructions.
- 2Using a 6.5cm round cutter, cut discs from pastry, reserving offcuts.
- 3Line four 12-hole patty pans with pastry. Place 1 teaspoon jam into each case. Cover with a tablespoon of cake batter.
- 4Using reserved pastry, cut 1.5cm circles and place one on top of each patty cake. Bake 12-15 minutes, until puffed and golden. Allow to cool in pans. Dust with icing sugar to serve.
Notes
Use jam flavour of your choice.
