Want freshly-made frozen treats in a flash? These instant sorbet recipes are just what you need. All you need is a few ingredients, a blender and five minutes up your sleeve - and voilà!

Ingredients
Mango & coconut
- 1 cup frozen mango (fruit or pulp)
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
Blackberry & date
- 1 cup frozen blackberries
- 3 dates, soaked in boiling water, then drained
- 2 tbsp lemon juice and water
Banana, maple & pecan
- 1 cup chopped and frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup toasted pecans
Method
- 1For each variation, blend all of the ingredients together until smooth, drizzling in more liquid (coconut milk, water or lemon juice) as needed to get a good consistency.
- 2Serve immediately or freeze for later, taking it out 15 minutes before serving to let it soften.
Notes
If using berries, a food processor is better than a blender as it keeps the seeds intact and prevents bitterness.
