Ingredients

Honey seed bars
  • 300 gram packet digestive biscuits, broken
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 90 gram butter, chopped
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup chopped brazil nuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped craisins
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method

    Line a 20 x 20cm square pan with baking paper.
  • 2
    Process biscuits in food processor until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a large bowl.

    Combine honey and butter in a medium saucepan. Stir over medium heat until melted and combined. Cool slightly.

    Add pumpkin seeds, apricots, nuts, craisins and sunflower seeds to crumbs. Pour in honey mixture, mixing until well combined.

    Spread mixture into pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds then press down firmly.

    Chill for 1 hour, until firm. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
