Ingredients
Healthy lunch box chocolate pots
- 2 large avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1/3 cup raw agave nectar, raw honey, organic maple syrup or chopped dates
- 6 tablespoon raw cacao powder, you could also use half carob and half cacao
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla seeds or extract
Method
Healthy lunch box chocolate pots
- 1Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, with a pinch of salt, and process until very smooth.
- 2Refrigerate before serving as pots will not achieve required taste until well chilled (otherwise there’s a mild taste of avocado). Once set in the fridge (about 1 hour; or 20 minutes in the freezer if you’re in a hurry), they will taste great and will remain firm even after a few hours in the lunch box.
- 3You can add other flavours to the chocolate. A popular variation for adults is cold, brewed coffee in place of water.
