Ingredients
Ham and chive fritters
- 350 gram finely chopped ham
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tablespoon grain mustard
- 1/4 cup chives, snipped, plus extra to serve
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- creme fraiche, to serve
- tomato chutney, to serve
Method
Ham and chive fritters
- 1In a large bowl, combine ham and flour. In a jug, whisk together milk, eggs, mustard and chives. Season to taste and gradually beat into flour mixture.
- 2Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Working in 3 batches, cook heaped tablespoons of mixture 2-3 minutes, until bubbles appear. Turn fritters and cook 1 minute, until golden and cooked through.
- 3Top with creme fraiche, chutney and extra chives to serve.
