Method

1.Preheat a chargrill. Combine ginger, lime juice, chilli and water in a small bowl and stir well. Set aside.
2.Toss asparagus in peanut oil and grill until charred on all sides. Mix in garlic and sesame seeds. Add soy and reserved ginger mixture and remove from heat. Serve.

To prepare green or purple asparagus, simply bend the spear so the woody end snaps off. White asparagus spears need to be peeled all the way down the spear.
