Ingredients
Green pea hummus
- 2 1/2 cup (300g) frozen peas
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 large lemon, juice
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- salt and pepper, to season
- ground paprika, to serve
- toasted turkish bread, to serve
- lemon wedges, to serve
Method
Green pea hummus
- 1Cook peas according to packet directions, until just tender. Drain and rinse. Drain and pat dry with paper towel.
- 2Place peas in a food processor with garlic, cumin, lemon juice, olive oil and tahini and puree. Season to taste, adding more lemon juice if needed.
- 3Spoon puree into a bowl and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with turkish bread and lemon wedges.
