Grape clafoutis
  • 600 gram mixed seedless grapes
  • 60 gram butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature, lightly whisked
  • 300 millilitre cream, plus extra, whipped, to serve
  • 1/2 cup almond meal (ground almonds)
  • 1 tablespoon brandy

    Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced. Grease a shallow 1.5-litre (6-cup) ovenproof dish. Place grapes in prepared dish.

    Beat butter and sugar together in a bowl until pale and creamy. Whisk in remaining ingredients until combined and smooth. Pour over grapes. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted at centre comes out clean. Serve warm with extra cream.
