Easy Irish coffee with nutmeg

Beat the winter chill with a drink with a kick! This warming Irish coffee is gently spiced with nutmeg and has (of course) a sneaky dash of Irish whiskey

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream, whipped
  • pinch of ground nutmeg

    Dissolve the coffee in boiling water. Add the whiskey and sugar. Stir to dissolve.

    Divide among the serving glasses. Top with cream and nutmeg.
