Ingredients

Method

1.Combine sugar, chocolate, cocoa and 1 litre of water in a large saucepan on medium heat, stirring, until smooth. Chill to cool completely.
2.Churn chilled mixture in an ice-cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
3.Alternatively, pour into a large metal container and cover. Place in freezer until mixture begins to freeze around edges. Scoop into a bowl and whisk with an electric mixer until smooth, without melting. Return to metal container and freeze overnight.
4.Serve sorbet with biscotti or sponge finger biscuits.
