Curried turkey with yoghurt

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic, cloves, crushed
- 500 gram turkey mince
- 2 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 2 tablespoon yoghurt, plus extra to serve
- 1/3 cup coriander, roughly
- 1 butter lettuce, leaves separated
Method
- 1In a large frying pan, heat oil on high. Saute onion and garlic 1-2 minutes, until onion is tender. Add turkey, brown well 4-5 minutes, breaking up all lumps.
- 2Stir in tomatoes, curry powder and masala. Cook 1-2 minutes.
- 3Add 1 cup water, bring to simmer on low. Cook, uncovered, 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix in peas and cook 1 minute to heat through.
- 4Remove from heat. Stir in yoghurt and coriander. Serve in lettuce cups, sprinkled with extra coriander. Accompany with extra yoghurt.
