Crown Range Cellar blackcurrant smoothie bowl
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks or fresh mango slices
  • 1/2 cup frozen blackcurrants or blueberries
  • 1 cup coconut milk or more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1-2 tsp Crown Range Cellar Blackcurrant Powder
To serve
  • 1-2 tsp Crown Range Cellar Manuka Honey
  • 2 teaspoon freeze dried blueberry slices
  • 1 tablespoon coconut chips, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped raw almonds

    Place the banana, dates, mango chunks, blackcurrants, coconut milk, chia or flax seeds and blackcurrant powder in a blender and blend until smooth.

    Pour into bowls and top with a drizzle of honey, freeze dried blueberry slices, coconut chips and almonds.


  • The daily recommended intake of Crown Range Cellar Blackcurrant Powder is 1 teaspoon for adults – ½ teaspoon for children. - This recipe is dairy free, but if you prefer yoghurt in your smoothie, simply replace the coconut milk with 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt and 3/4 cup coconut water.
