Crispy calamari and aioli buns

Both the kids and adults will love these tasty calamari buns served with potato crisps.

Ingredients

Method

1.Place seasoned flour in a large bowl. Add calamari, tossing to coat. Shake off excess.
2.Heat oil in a large frying pan on high. Fry calamari in batches for 2-3 minutes, until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towel.
3.To make aioli, in a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and garlic together.
4.Spread aioli on rolls. Top with lettuce leaves and calamari. Serve with potato crisps.

You can add 1 teaspoon grated lime zest and 1 tablespoon lime juice to aioli, if liked.
