Creamy parsnip mash
Mix up your standard mashed potato recipe with this wonderfully creamy garlic infused parsnip mash. Serve it on the side of all your favourite meat dishes for an added flavour hit.

Creamy parsnip mash
- 4 potatoes, peeled, cut into chunks
- 2 parsnips, peeled, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup hot milk
- 40 gram butter
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
Method
Creamy parsnip mash
- 1Place potatoes and parsnips in a saucepan with enough salted water to cover. Bring to boil. Cook 15-20 minutes, until tender. Drain.
- 2Return potatoes and parsnips to saucepan. Mash well. Add milk, butter and garlic. Cook, stirring, on medium heat, 2-3 minutes, until smooth. Season to taste.
