Method

1.Place consomme, the water, ginger and soy sauce in a large saucepan over high heat. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat. Add dumplings; cook for 6-8 minutes or until dumplings are cooked.
2.Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 3-4 minutes or until noodles are tender. Divide noodles, vegetables and dumplings between bowls. Ladle over hot broth. Serve.

You’ll find consomme at supermarkets. You could use chicken stock instead, if you like.
