Coconut roughs

These decadent bite-sized desserts are perfect for a light treat after dinner. Creamy, chocolatey and packed full of coconut and honeycomb pieces, they will delight the whole family.

Ingredients

Method

1.Combine chocolate and cream in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat 3-4 minutes, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
2.Stir through coconut, almonds and chocolate bar. Chill 2 hours, until almost firm.
3.Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. Roll in shredded coconut. Arrange on tray, chill 30 minutes before serving.

To make an after-dinner treat, adds splash of liqueur. Roll roughs in chopped nuts instead of coconut, if preferred.
