Cinnamon tortilla shapes

Sweet, cripsy and buttery, these little cinnamon-crusted tortilla shapes make a fun and tasty afternoon treat for your children. Serve them warm, fresh from the oven, or include as leftovers for school lunchboxes.

Ingredients

Method

1.Cut each flour tortilla into 6 to 8 wedges or use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes in the tortillas.
2.Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
3.Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and spread out over the bottom of a small plate. Melt butter in a small bowl.
4.Dip the tortilla shapes in the melted butter, gently shake off the excess and place on the plate of cinnamon sugar. Coat only one side of the tortilla shape in cinnamon sugar.
5.Place coated tortilla shapes, cinnamon sugar side up, on the lined baking tray.
6.Bake for 12 minutes at 175°C, or until the tortilla shapes are crispy.
