Is there anything better than a choc chip bikkie? All you need is a handful of pantry staples to create these little treats, like NESTLÉ HIGHLANDER Sweetened Condensed Milk and NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE BITS

Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line 3 baking trays with baking paper.
2.Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and NESTLÉ HIGHLANDER Sweetened Condensed Milk on high speed until pale and creamy.
3.Reduce speed to low. Slowly add flour and mix until the dough just comes together.
4.Using a wooden spoon, stir the NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE BITS. Roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls approximately 1 ½ cm and place onto baking trays, allowing a little room for spreading.
5.Bake in batches, around 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden. Stand for 5 minutes on trays before transferring biscuits to a wire rack to cool.
6.Divide the sauce between sterilised jars and package the biscuits in an airtight container for gifting.
  • Makes 44 biscuits. – You could dip the cookies in melted chocolate or sandwich them together with caramel sauce or ganache. The cookies are also soft enough to make a delicious Ice cream sandwich.
