Method
1.In a large frying pan, heat half the oil over moderate. Cook beef, in batches, 2-3 minutes or until seared. Transfer to a heatproof plate.
2.Add remaining oil to pan. Cook and stir onion 5 minutes or until soft. Add capsicum and garlic; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add spices; cook and stir until fragrant.
3.Stir in beef, tomato paste, tomato and 1/3 cup of water. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat. Simmer; covered, 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Stir in beans. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until heated. Serve with rice, sour cream, cheese and coriander.
Replace spices with a 35 gram packet chilli seasoning mix.
