Ingredients
Chewy peanut butter bars
- 60 gram butter, chopped
- 1/4 cup (90g) honey
- 1/2 cup (110g) brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 cup (95g) smooth peanut butter
- 2 tablespoon marmalade
- 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cup (50g) rice bubbles
- 1/2 cup (35g) shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup (75g) mixed dried fruit
- 1/4 cup (55g) glacé pineapple, finely chopped
Method
Chewy peanut butter bars
- 1Grease 23cm-square slab pan.
- 2Combine butter, honey, sugar, peanut butter and marmalade in large saucepan, stir over low heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil, remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients, mix well.
- 3Press mixture firmly into prepared pan, refrigerate until firm.
