1.In a bowl, toss asparagus, half the oil and garlic to coat. Season.
2.Preheat barbecue plate on high. Cook asparagus, turning for 4-5 minutes until tender and grill marks appear.
3.Preheat barbecue grill on high. Drizzle bread with remaining oil. Grill for 2-3 minutes each side until toasted. Tear into small chunks.
4.In a small bowl, combine tomato, onion and basil leaves. Season to taste. Serve asparagus topped with tomato mixture, breadcrumb chunks and salad leaves.
