Method

1.Peel and trim carrots. Cut in half crossways. Thickly slice each piece lengthways; then cut into 1cm strips.
2.Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Add carrots. Cook until just tender; drain.
3.Heat butter in same saucepan. Add honey, onion and allspice. Cook, stirring, until melted. Return carrots to pan; toss to combine.
