Big-choc-chip Oreo cookies
1.Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C. Line two oven trays with baking paper.
2.In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars together until pale. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
3.Mix in the sifted combined flours, salt and chocolate chips until well combined.
4.Roll 1/3 cup of dough into a ball, then press an Oreo in the centre. Wrap dough around to enclose. Flatten slightly, then place on oven trays 5cm apart.
5.Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool on trays for 5 minutes before transferring toa wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
