Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat the oven to 160ËšC fanbake.
2.Place the oats, wheatgerm, nuts, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds or linseeds into a large bowl.
3.Heat the honey and oil over a low heat in a small pan until the honey melts. Add the honey mixture to the oats and mix well.
4.Place the mixture into large roasting pans. Bake in the oven, stirring frequently, for 15-20 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown. Leave the granola to cool in the pan, stirring once or twice while it cools to stop it from clumping.
5.Once the granola is cool, add the fruit. Stored in an airtight container, it will keep for 2-3 weeks.
  • Watch the granola carefully towards the end of roasting – it can go brown very quickly! PER 100g: Energy: 428kcal, 1793kj Protein: 11g Fat: 20g Saturated fat: 7g Cholesterol: 0mg Carbohydrate: 48g Fibre: 7g Sodium: 10mg
