Ingredients

Method

1.Soak noodles in boiling water in a heatproof bowl for 2 minutes. Stir to separate. Drain.
2.Heat a wok or frying pan over high heat. Add half the oil; swirl to coat surface. Stir-fry beef, in 2 batches, for 2-3 minutes or until browned and just cooked. Transfer to a heatproof plate.
3.Heat remaining oil in wok over moderate heat. Add onion and garlic; stir-fry for 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add broccoli, carrot, show peas and 1/4 cup water; stir-fry for 2 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
4.In a small bowl, combine sauces, cornflour and 1 tablespoon water. Add to wok with beef and noodles. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until mixture thickens. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Freeze meat before cutting; this makes it easier to slice thinly. Prepare everything before starting to cook. Use beef stir-fry strips. Price will vary. Try pork leg steak instead of beef.
