Beef and blue cheese sliders

These scrumptious beef and blue cheese sliders are fantastic for the whole family to enjoy for a delicious midweek meal.

Method

1.Heat oil in a small frying pan over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Set aside to cool.
2.Mix mince, cooled onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and mustard in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and form into 10 patties.
3.Heat extra oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook meat patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Add blue cheese before removing patties from the pan so the slice starts to melt on the hot patty.
4.To serve, split sliders and insert lettuce, tomato slices, your choice of sliced onion, tomato relish and cornichons, then top with patties. Secure bun top with a toothpick.

Use a ¼-cup measure to ensure patties are all the same size. If time allows, place the patties on a plate, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes for the flavours to develop.
